4 While white influence and common ground are relevant to all interracial relations, the near void of scholarly attention to justice grievances among communities of color informing intergroup wounds and daily conflicts obscures a key aspect of coalition buildinginterracial justice. Justice among communities of color is important because intergroup alliances frequently founder on the shoals of racial grievance.
